Sorry for having an uninitiated question, but why did they titled this “Does size matter?” when there is nothing in the ad that talks about the size? Well, the bald guy do look (and stare) at the leaking big black man beside him in the comfort room and subliminally suggest an otherwise naughty gesture where they let the viewer’s “imagination” soars.
The suggestive implication of the ad makes it funny to some but to others it’s kinda superficial. In trying to illicit a naughty giggles coupled with gay undertones the ad appears to be uncomfortably shallow and did not succeed in presenting the most important factor in an advertisement and that is presenting your product effectively.

Note from Reah Guevarra: Rom, I think it is just entitled by the uploader of this commercial in YouTube. Does size matter question was not in any way printed in the commercial, or was voiced over.
This is what happens when you try to be smart. It’s either you prove your point or you get outsmarted by someone else. In this commercial, the latter seemed to happen than the former. It was a fun way of introducing the product although not much relation can be found at first glance. If you don’t happen to be familiar with the Orange Obox, you would probably just end up entertained without seeing the obvious reasons as to why the company chose the said concept to advertise themselves.
The world is just awesome and so this ad. I love it there is no way to further describes it but my favourite channel has done it again. Their advertisement is synonymous to their shows and the awesome hosts.
No fancy frills, no special celebrity guest appearance, just a straightforward adverts of Discovery shows that pivoted the channel into a well-respected educational institution worldwide.
The world may be in shambles as the bio diversities are being violated to the full extent, viewing the Discovery channel adverts may create a refreshing scenario evocative of the times when the world is in its glorious state. I love the song too kind of lingers in your mind. “I love the world and all its craziness…”
If you feel like singing, here is the lyrics:
I love the mountains,
I love the clear blue skies,
I love big bridges,
I love when great whites fly
I love the whole world,
And all its sights and sounds,
Boom dee yada, boom dee yada, Boom dee yada, boom dee yada,
I love the oceans,
I love real dirty things,
I love to go fast,
I love Egyptian kings,
I love the whole world,
And all its craziness.
Boom dee yada, boom dee yada, Boom dee yada, boom dee yada,
I love tornadoes,
I love arachnids,
I love hot magma,
I love the giant squids,
I love the whole world,
It’s such a brilliant place,
Boom dee yada, boom dee yada, Boom dee yada, boom dee yada,
Boom dee yada, boom dee yada, Boom dee yada, boom dee yada…

If there is any other commercial that can possibly sum up how amazing Earth is, it is none other than this one. Not only was it able to sum up what makes the Earth such an amazing planet but it was also able to showcase the different shows that the channel offers. Indeed Discovery Channel has managed to show off an advertisement that just gives you goosebumps with how smartly and entertaining it was crafted. —from Christel
In my senior year, we had this college-wide ad competition. We were not really Advertising majors, but Broadcasting and Journalism majors, that just happened to have an advertising class that year. One of what our class did was to search online for advertising agencies. We would like to know their credos, and watch their ads so we could get ideas for creating our own.
However, I did not use the search keyword “list of advertising agencies”, but particularly looked for McCann-Erickson, Leo Burnett, and some agencies I heard from the advertising congress I attended the year before.
So here, I made this list of major advertising agencies based on Wikipedia’s, hoping that I would help students, or anyone who is in search of advertising agencies. Just click the links to go to their official websites.
Hello everyone!!! This is a new blog of one of my interest and that is about Television Advertisements or TV Commercials.
While watching my favorite TV shows, and it is time for ca break, I don’t get annoyed easily since I also love watching the commercials. Especially TV Ads that are creatively done.
So here I am with this blog, going to share commercials I have seen in Youtube. I will also give commentaries, but of course not a professional one, just a commentary from a TV Viewer who happened to have an Advertising Subject back in College. I hope you will enjoy what I am going to share to you here.
