Bud Light “The Elevator” Commercial
By hyacinth78 at 30 August, 2010, 11:27 am
Well, there’s nothing really special or extraordinary about this Bud Light commercial. In fact, I’ve seen a lot of commercials with this kind of storyline or formula: Men + Beer = Women.
It’s supposed to be a funny commercial. But, in all honesty, I didn’t find anything hilarious about this “Elevator” commercial. In fact, I’m a [...]

Children See…Children Do…
I think that the message above is clearly depicted in this childfriendly.org.au commercial. But, the way the message is characterized and shared to viewers can be disturbing, particularly to a lot of parents and child advocates.
It’s pretty understandable why this commercial had been banned. Even though, you have a good message right there, [...]

“Castaway” – World’s Funniest Commercial
By hyacinth78 at 27 June, 2010, 6:54 pm
This “Castaway” commercial is from Leo’s Pizza. I think that the commercial wanted to depict something funny. But, I don’t find this ad funny at all. This should be categorized as the “World’s Lamest Commercial” not “World’s Funniest Commercial.”
Okay, the commercial used a fat man to be the one stranded in an island. So what?
He [...]
Just Married- Banned Commercial
By hyacinth78 at 20 June, 2010, 6:59 pm
This hotel commercial is so funny. I wonder why it was banned. Well, maybe it’s because of its “Romance and Seduction” theme.
This video is about two couple—a newlywed and an old couple. It’s stereotypical that the newlywed couple is so into each other, being sweet, romantic and intimate. On the other hand, the old couple [...]
Banned “The Stranger” Bud Light Commercial
By hyacinth78 at 13 June, 2010, 8:31 pm
This is definitely one funny but naughty commercial. I understand that it’s for adult viewing only because of some deviant lines and acts but it’s not that offensive. But, since it’s a TV commercial, certain consideration must be made for there are children watching.
What I don’t’ understand is the reaction of the woman when he [...]

If you ask me, “What do men like to do during their free time? “ It would be watching their favorite game while drinking beer. Forget about expensive shoes, clothes, bags, or perfume…Having their favorite beer around is enough for men to be happy.
In this commercial, there seems to be some sort of a misunderstanding. [...]
